Privacy policy.
The short version: we don't sell your data, we use Google Analytics to understand traffic, and clicking out to Amazon hands you over to Amazon's own privacy practices.
What we collect
Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to track aggregate visitor behavior — pages viewed, time on page, country, device type, referral source. We don't see your name, email, or any personally identifying information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Email correspondence. If you email us, we store that email in our inbox for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the conversation. We don't add you to any mailing lists.
Cookies. Google Analytics sets standard tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking beyond standard analytics.
What happens when you click to Amazon
When you click a "Shop on Amazon" link, you leave our site and arrive on Amazon.com. From that moment, Amazon's privacy notice applies. Amazon sets a tracking cookie that attributes any qualifying purchase to our affiliate account. We can see aggregate sales data (number of items ordered, commission earned) but we don't see your name, email, shipping address, or payment details.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share your data with third parties. We don't run ads on this site (so no ad-network tracking). We don't have a newsletter or any other way of collecting your email passively. We don't fingerprint your browser or use session recording tools.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data privacy laws, you have the right to request a copy of any data we hold about you, request its deletion, or object to its processing. Since we collect almost no personally identifying data, these requests are usually quick to fulfill. Email hello@curatedcounter.com to submit a request.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date below. Material changes will be noted in the disclosure bar at the top of the site for at least 30 days.
